Delta fans follow a clear 8-segment naming scheme for their fans, in 2 parts separated by a hyphen (-). Example: AFB1212HE-BF00

  1. The first segment consists of three alphabets, defining the Series Code.
  2. The second segment is 2-3 digits and defines the dimensions of the fan frame.
  3. The third segment is 2 digits specifying the operating voltage of the fan.
  4. The fourth segment can be 1-2 alphabets, it describes the speed of the fan.
  5. The fifth segment is a singular alphabet, specifying the thickness of the fan frame.
  6. The sixth segment describes the frame type.
  7. The seventh segment specifies the signal output of the fan, if any.
  8. The eight segment specifies the signal output voltage of the fan
Example:
1 - Series 2 - Dimensions 3 - Voltage 4 - Speed 5 - Thickness - 6 - Frame 7 - Signal 8 - Signal V
